Eye to the sky
2/17/25
February 13, 2025 - With the full moon last night, it makes sense why I felt so drained this past week ( a trait associated with the occurrence). I’d rather acknowledge the moon and the power of the universe, instead of allowing the actions of these imbeciles to paralyze and panic my inner stability. I mean there will always be detractors and ignorant people spewing ignorance. Between the developments in government and the people (black and yt) that didn’t enjoy the masterful presentation during the Super Bowl Halftime, I’m choosing to disconnect my feelings from the peanut gallery, and stay focused on the actual facts. There is so much illuminating content being provided by the public that I’m just observing and taking notes. It’s really been eye opening to see the true feelings of the people. Not that I didn’t know, but more so, the magnitude of ignorance, misinformation, and fear of the unknown (whether that’s based on your political preference, musical taste, or understanding of your own culture, as well as others).
In 2025, it’s just laughable (for the sake of not crying) that we as a people (across the board) are still so divided, conditioned, complacent, and delusional. Even living in a time with the most information, literally at our fingertips, still we have a majority of society still comfortably resting on outdated thought. A dinosaur mentality, it is — ideas that should be buried, deep, in the ground.
So in keeping my head to the sky, (because I am optimistic), I’ve been allowing myself to behold the beauty of the universe. The moon and the stars are magically entrancing and calming. It’s awesome when you get a night with a really clear sky, allowing the stars to really shine. I recently learned a i Phone hack, that helps when documenting the night sky. Before taking your pic, tap the arrow at the top of the screen, and some camera settings are revealed. Then tap the circle with a plus and minus sign inside, giving you access to adjust the exposure, which you want to lower all the way, and then zoom in based on your preference.
Take a look at these selects from the last couple months. Check out the difference in picture quality using the new tip! Let me know your thoughts!
