LaRussell : Live at SYCAMORE & OAK (9.10.24)

Tuesday, September 10, 2024 - As we were all enjoying the final days of summer, the District got a visit from independent artist, LaRussell. As the Bay-Area native (Vallejo to be exact) makes his rounds around the country promoting his music (& Good Compenny brand), he stopped through the city for a few days.  

According to his IG he was a busy man while in town, showing love all over the city. Before he made his exit, the good people over at Sycamore & Oak and the Museum DC, put together an evening of music & culture for folks to enjoy on the Southside! The show also featured a performance by DC’s own, Noochie (creator/host of “Front Porch Freestyles”), and live painting by artist Brain Bailey. 

After following his story for a couple years now, it was a pleasure to finally witness the vibe and energy in person! It was definitely a night to remember, so check out the view thru my lens, and enjoy the show!
