2020 CHECK-IN : AUGUST - DECEMBER '18 RECAP

In an attempt to catch you up on all that has transpired since my last post, I’ve decided to do some recaps from August 2018 to present day, 2020.

I’ve also decided to add my voice and some background info to these posts. I’ll try not to get too carried away…lol.

So much has happened, not just in my life, but in the world. - Right around the time of the photos in my last post, work started to get busy and before I knew it, December was here! I was already planning projects for 2019 (my 10 year anniversary in photography) when I found out I was going to be a Dad for the 1st time!!! Then about three months later, found out I’d be relocating too! So of course 2019 plans got pushed to 2020, and well..lol.. yeah, 2020 has been a literal shit show!!!

I just want to send my prayers and condolences to all the victims (and their loved ones) of police brutality and racism. Also, sending big love to all the Essential Workers and Protesters that have been out on the front lines!

To everyone else, I hope you are staying safe and finding positives things to keep your mind off the dramas of the days.. It has definitely been an exercise at times to maintain my equilibrium and not be affected by the things I see happening, as well as the uncertainty of the near future – but this is life always. We are not in the driver’s seat, we cannot control every outcome, but must live and persevere through and over obstacles that will present themselves. Most times, when you make it past those obstacles, you find yourself in a better place than you were before!
